Rotisserie Chicken makes life soooo much easier! They’re completely versatile, and you can whip up incredibly flavorful dishes in no time at all, since the protein is already cooked! I typically buy a rotisserie chicken at Whole Foods every week, and it not only makes meals super easy, but you can also use the bones to make homemade bone broth! Of course you can always cook your own chicken, but sometimes letting someone else do part of the cooking for you is pretty awesome!
There are so many different ways that you can use a rotisserie chicken to create completely different dishes, and this post is a round up of my favorite recipes on my website to do just that! Most chickens will have enough meat on them so that you can actually make two of the recipes below, making eating real food even easier!
A little tip – pull the meat off the bones while the chicken is still warm. If I wait until it’s cold in the fridge I find that I don’t get quite as much meat. Simply store the pulled chicken in an airtight container in the fridge until you’re ready to use it! Also, for every 1 lb of chicken that each recipe calls for, simply substitute approximately 3 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken.
