Kristen’s Book Club: March 2019 Reading List

posted in: Mindset

I’m loving getting to share my favorite books with you! This month in Kristen’s Book Club: March 2019 Reading List, I’m sharing more of my recent reads! I’m also mixing it up a bit by adding in one of my favorite self-help books that I recently re-read for the second time. Cause ya know, every so often I take a lil’ break from reading drama, haha.

March 2019 Reading List

Since I’ve gotten back into the habit of reading this year, I’ve been surprised to find that I actually feel much more accomplished, as reading is such a great form of self-care for me. Reading also helps to keep me healthy, as it balances out my life so that I’m not constantly running around and working allll the time.

My March 2019 picks include two super dramatic books, along with one all about self-improvementIf you’re into either, then you’re gonna love these!

March 2019 Reading List

The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda

Similar to All the Missing Girls, this book took me several chapters to really get into, but then I was HOOKED. I had sooo many thoughts while reading this as the plot continued to change, as I never quite knew if Emmy was real, made up, or just a real jerk who left her friend hanging. The ending was so good as the whole story really comes together!

Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris

This might be the most chilling book that I’ve ever read. While I love me some good drama, usually it feels a bit farfetched, but this story felt like it could be so real. While this was really well written, I feel the pull to warn you that I could see this being triggering for some, especially if you’ve ever dealt with any form of abuse. This is one that I recommend only if you’re into thrillers.

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

This book was my first introduction to Jen Sincero’s work, and I instantly loved her. She’s just someone who GETS it. I actually first read this book last March and re-read it again this past month. I recommend this book to literally everyone, and her following book, You are a Badass at Making Money is equally amazing. I connect the most with those that have been through a really tough time and have found their own way to an amazing life, which is exactly what this author has done. If you’re someone who doubts your own greatness or just need a really solid reminder of how incredible you truly are, then I HIGHLY recommend picking this one up.

All in all, You are a Badass & The Perfect Stranger are definitely my top two picks for this month!

Have you read any books from my February 2019 Reading ListIf not, what’s the best book that you’ve read this year? What are some of your faves that I should add to my own list?
